The American College of Forensic Examiners International (ACFEI) is an independent, multi-disciplinary scientific and professional society dedicated to the continued advancement of forensic examination and consultation. It is the largest professional membership association representing forensic examiers.

ACFEI serves as the national center for continuing education through its publication The Forensic Examiner® as well as lectures, seminars, conferences and workshops.

Founded in 1994, FEWA serves to provide opportunities to enhance the knowledge of forensics and forensic techniques through chapter meetings, lectures, seminars, publications and workshops. FEWA is working to develop a system of standards and ethics, policies and procedures related to forensic consulting work.
