Objective:
An online retailer hired an e-commerce software company to modify their web site and to create a new version with enhanced features. The software company subsequently failed and is suing over unpaid development costs. We have been asked to examine the evidence in the case and to supply a fair market value for the work produced. Analysis demonstrated that supplier billed for work not performed and overcharged for the work they did perform. Client settled before trial for a fraction of what was claimed.
